38 weeks!!!! *as the belly grows..*

As the belly grows! i thought i should maybe put this up now....in case i don't make it to 40! ha!

2 weeks to my due date - AND she is STILL cooking! and i have more energy than ever!!! in the last 2 days i have: built a dresser, sewed a quilt, installed a car seat, set up a swing, 6 loads of laundry... & i'm making a big ham Easter dinner this weekend! (i think all my stored up energy from 3+ months of bedrest is coming out all at once!!) is this normal? HA!

I'll do one of these for fun!

Pregnancy Highlights: having 2 wonderful weeks up on my feet like a "normal pregnant woman"!!!
How Far Along: 38 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: i finally packed on 3lbs my first week off of bedrest! (that's more than i gained in the last 2 months!!) welcome back muscle...[oh & uhem...fat...from indulging at all my favorite restaurants]. So i'm up a total of 16 now.
Is your nursery done? no - no nursery for lil miss yet :(. bedrest made this impossible for me to do what i want to do...and we are going to be buying a new house soon. so it just makes more sense not to do it yet.
What is your favorite piece of baby gear that you've purchased? humm..probably the rocker - which we don't have yet! LOl
Which stroller did you buy? just a snap n go for now. (see below post)
How many inches around is that bump? 39 inches!
Are you getting nervous? no - not yet
Have you dropped yet? i thought maybe i had - but now listening to others as to what it feels like...i dont think i have.
Any other signs that baby is on their way? I'm dilated to a 2-3....70% effaced. but doc did say i have a ring of some scar tissue on my cervix which is currently holding her in and working as a "pseudo cerclage". And suddenly hardly any contractions??...so crazy after having them 5min apart so much on bedrest!
How do you feel in general? I feel great! really i do. though i wake up with a VERY soar lower back. it's even hard to walk a bit in the morning till it loosens up. I think it's from all the "work" i have suddenly been doing that my body isn't use to!
What are you getting the most excited about? just meeting her....our miracle!!!
Any big fears or concerns? "Faith not Fear" has been my motto this entire pregnancy. When i think about it - i'm a little nervous about the labor/knowing when i'm in labor...etc.
What is in your hospital bag? a simple cute comfy outfit for little miss, blanket, robe, yoga pants and comfy's for me too! oh...and the camera!
Are you exercising? Rick and i have been going on a short and slow walk every night.
How many more days until D-Day? who knows???!??? when God decides she can arrive!
What are you doing to keep yourself occupied if you’re on leave already? getting a TON of stuff done and checked off the list! and just enjoying and loving life in these final days!

alright....off to prep my yummy chicken parmeasan for dinner tonight!
