I guess i need to change my blog name....

SURPRISE!!!! New business....New house...and now new baby!!! We are totally shocked...really excited...and a tiny bit, well...most of you know my high risk history.

I'm 12 weeks along (we didn't even know i was pregnant until right around 9 weeks). Cerclage is scheduled for next friday.

So, we are not "Rick and Melissa plus 1" anymore.... but come November we will be "plus 2". :)

And once again - we would love your prayers and support as we make this journey...this time with a toddler in tow :)

Lot's of "new" happening around here lately! Mostly time is just flying - and i cannot believe my baby girl is about to turn 1 in a little over A WEEK!!! It was fun to plop her in the Texas blue bonnets! Here are a couple of shots!

it's been too long...

it's been wayyy to long... i'm so sorry at my lack of keeping up with this blog. Life just isn't the same - not like on bed rest, when i had all day everyday just to blog! i now have a full time job as a mommy to a VERY mobile 9month old, AND a full-time "business" that fell into my lap! *So very thankful for both!*

It's almost like i dont know where to start. Lets start with the little bebe! 9months...almost 10months, and i just can't believe it. i keep begging for time to slow down with her. Sienna is seriously the BEST.BABY.EVER. she's just soooo easy...so happy...soo content...and such a joy as rick and i both crack up at her all day long!

She's still just an itty bitty - and i'm trying my best to pack the lb's on the little bug, but she obviously has her daddy's metabolism. Just a wee one only not even 16lbs yet in the 3%. But she loooves food. I still nurse her 5x times a day - and she eats baby food 3x a day. pears, prunes, peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, yogurt...and just starting on a bit of table foods.

Her two cute little bottom teeth are in and have been for a couple of months now - and just a couple weeks ago in Vail, we noticed ALL 4 TOP teeth were all starting to bust through! this girl is the most amazing teether i tell ya! hardly a peep out of her! she just tends to suck her two favorite middle fingers a little more often.

She's starting to use her "baby signs" - "more" "all done", "bye bye". She is turbo crawling and INTO EVERYTHING! love her sweet smile and her little mischievous look when she knows she's into the plant dirt!

This month we took a vacation (with friends and family) to our favorite winter spot: Vail. Here's a few pics from the crazy relaxing trip!

i know...i've disappeared!! if you've seen the craziness on my etsy.... you understand why.. HA!

i'm buried in socks - meanwhile this lil one is 7.5 months and growing up wayyyyyyyyy too fast!!

a new excuse...

i feel like everytime i do get a second to post i have a new excuse as to why it's been so long since i've updated!! A 6mo post for my baby girl is long over-do especially cause lil miss "two teeth!" is growing up sooo fast! (even tho she's a lil peanut!)

so... remember my Etsy Shop- Sienna's Closet that i opened in sept with the lil onesies?..... well to say my shop has exploded has been an understatement! On Halloween i listed a pair of the boot socks that i've been making for myself (cause EVERYONE asks me where i get them). Well, it sold within 10min. Someone posted it on Pinterest...and well...it's gone VIRAL!! I have litterarily had over 400 requests for them. Sooo....I really "opened shop", and now my friends, the boot sock/ legwarmer frenzy is in full affect. Last night i pre-sold over 100 pairs in 30min!!!!!!! can you say CRAZY!!!??? crazy!!! and i'm trying to keep my head above water and stay afloat! BUT i can say i'm having fun!
